- Early Life-

Immigrated from Indonesia to Sydney Australia in 1999 at the age of 4, Reynold immersed himself in a life full of food.

Growing up, Reynold always seemed to have food influence in every corner of his life. His parents worked in the restaurants and his older brothers found their way into the hospitality industry themselves.
His passion for cooking first began at the age of 14 where he found himself expressing his craft and creativity through food. Though at first as a hobby which then grew into an everyday passion project - Endless experimenting, cooking from high-end cookbooks, watching cooking tutorials and in no time became a self-taught cook.
He then made his debut onto Masterchef Australia in 2015 and crowned as the nation’s ‘Dessert King’ as he placed as a finalist in the cooking competition. He may not have won but have definitely won the hearts of many.
